A sale in seconds
On a Saturday the chair never empties. Whatever you use to record sales has to be faster than a notebook or it will not get used. In Densu your services are big buttons: fade, line-up, beard, wash. Tap the cut, tap the payment, done. A cash sale takes a few seconds. A mobile money sale takes as long as the customer needs to approve on his phone, and the sale closes on its own when the money lands.
Because it is on a phone, the till is wherever you are. The barber at the last chair can ring up his own client without walking to the front. If a customer wants a cut and a product, that is one sale with two lines and one receipt.
- Services as big buttons, in your own words
- Cash, and mobile money on any network
- A cut and a product on one receipt
Cash and mobile money, counted separately
Half the shop pays cash and half pays mobile money. Each sale is paid one way and Densu records which, so at the end of the day you know exactly how much should be in the drawer and how much should be on the mobile money line. No more counting cash and subtracting alerts.
The customer pays from his own phone the way he always does and you see it land in the app. Customers who order from your shop link online can also pay by card.
Sales per barber, without the argument
Give each barber an Attendant account on Growth. He logs in on his own phone, rings up his own clients and sees only what he sold. You see the whole shop: who did how many cuts today, this week, this month, and how much each one brought in. Commission is a report, not a negotiation.
If a barber rings up the wrong cut, he corrects it with a reason and the original stays in the record. Nothing disappears, so the numbers at the end of the month are the numbers.
- Owner, Manager and Attendant roles
- Attendants see only their own sales
- Void and correction with a reason
SMS receipts, if you want them
Switch on SMS receipts and a customer with a phone number gets the sale by text. The printed or downloaded receipt carries a link to verify it. It is a small thing that makes a shop feel like a business, and it puts your shop in his phone for the next time he needs a cut.
A customer who orders online gets a link to rate you and leave a comment. You see it in the app before it goes anywhere else. With his consent, the good ones can appear on your shop page.
Bookings and your shop link
Your shop address, like yourshop.densu.shop, shows your cuts and prices, your hours and your socials. Customers in Accra or Kumasi who found you on social media open the link, see the price of a fade and book Thursday at five. The booking lands in your diary and becomes a sale with one tap when he sits down.
Print the QR code for the mirror. Send the link when someone asks "are you open?" If you sell products, put them on the price list with an Order now door and let people order ahead. Running a back-to-school special on kids' cuts? Make it a campaign drop with a set number of slots.
The real number at the end of the month
Rent, light bill, clippers oil, the guy who fixes the chair. Record expenses as they happen and Densu shows what you actually made, not just what you took. Profit and loss, expenses and reports are free on every plan, including Solo. On Growth, inventory tracks your products and shows a low-stock warning in the app, plus a daily stock email, before the pomade runs out.
Which plan fits a barbershop
A one-chair shop starts on Solo. Your shop address comes with every plan. Starter is for one user with room to grow, with SMS receipts, credit sales and a free trial. Growth is the plan for a shop with more than one barber: three accounts, appointments, inventory and promotions. Enterprise has no limits.
Prices are on the pricing page, billed monthly by mobile money or card, with no setup fee and no contract.
